Receiving Financial Help

Is your child eligible for some funding to assist them with their learning? Do you know the benefits for your child and the school through registering for Pupil Premium funding?

The Government is giving sums of money to schools to help children from lower income families do their very best. This funding is called a ‘Pupil Premium’. For every child registered Great Binfields Primary gets £1,300 this year.

This money could enable us to fund additional resources for your children.

For example, extra one to one tuition, Hampshire Music Service music lessons, new equipment and materials for pupils or provide extra classroom support.

If you are registered for Pupil Premium you could also get help with costs to support your child’s outdoor education. For example, the pupil premium can help fund the cost of school trips, extracurricular activities and books.

Please register as soon as you can to make sure your child and others in their class don’t miss out. No one will know you have registered and it will not affect any other benefits you are claiming. Mrs Worgan is available to assist anyone complete the application online and this can be done in school if this is more convenient. Just pop into our school office and make an appointment to let her know you will be coming in to see if you qualify.

Registering is really quick and easy. If you think you qualify, you can register on line at https://www.cloudforedu.org.uk/ofsm/hants or contact Mrs Worgan in school who will help you to register as mentioned above.

Please do not hesitate to talk to us further if you have any concerns or questions.
