'Lookout' Year 1 went on a school trip!

Yesterday Year 1 went on their end of year trip to the Lookout Discovery Centre in Bracknell. The children and staff had a great day which included going into the woodlands to complete challenges such as identifying trees, using natural resources to create a picture, enjoying a story and hunting for mini beasts. We also  had the chance to explore inside the science exhibition and go into the different areas including woodland and water, light and colour, forces and movement and body and perception.  One of the highlights  of the day was climbing the 88 steps to the top of the tall look out tower. This  was fun for most and little but scary for a few us but it was great to see what it would be like to sit in the tree tops and see things from a birds eye view. It was a great way to round off our Into the Woods topic and we are extremely proud of how sensible our children were.
