Remote Education 2020/2021

Non Critical Key Worker (CKW) or Vulnerable Children are to stay at home. The school site is unfortunately not open for them.

If your child has a high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss  of taste or smell, then the COVID-19 guidelines state that your child must stay at home and in the case of vulnerable or critical key worker children, they are to not come to school. If any member of the household has a temperature, new continuous cough or loss of taste or smell then all members of the household should stay at home and self isolate.

When a negative test result is obtained and the vulnerable or critical key worker child is well enough and their high temperature is gone, they can return to school.

The government says that when children are unable to attend school because they are complying with clinical or public health advice to isolate, they should have access to good quality remote learning that is in line with what they would have been taught if they were attending school.

As a school we will work hard to provide remote education that is of a high quality and links as closely as possible with in-school provision content.

Your children will need to log on to Seesaw/Tapestry daily. They are also to have daily contact with their school year group similar to a registration really. This needs to be completed and uploaded by 9.30am each day. Click on the second yellow star below for more details.
