Well-being and Mental Health:

Our own well-being during times of crisis, whether personal, local, national or global, is something to take care of. On this page, you will find links that provide some general activities or guidance to try to alleviate the potential stress of being isolated in your home. The main message we are sharing with you is to remember, these are unprecedented times and there is no 'right way' of doing things. Be kind to yourself and take each day as it comes. 

What are the Great Binfields staff doing to keep positive? 

You might be wondering what all the GBPS adults are doing during these strange times; we are working very, very hard to make sure that things run smoothly for our school and for your learning at home. We are all doing lots of new things, developing new skills and adapting to changing circumstances . When we are not working, we have all been finding different ways to keep positive and keep smiling . Read on to find out what everyone has been up to (these will be updated regularly)...

 

-Miss Grove has been listening to lots of music and is enjoying discovering new artists. She is also trying to keep active with bike rides, walks and yoga.

-Mrs Folan is enjoying daily walks with her children and dogs, taking time to spot lots of beautiful spring time flowers.

-Mrs Ellis is keeping busy by taking on lots of crafty sewing projects including a hand appliquéd quilt so that she has a lovely reminder of this unusual time. We’re looking forward to seeing the finished product.

-Miss Hunt is enjoying spending time with her new puppy Quinn. She has taught him to sit, lie down, high five and spin. He is going for his first walk tomorrow too – we’re sure he will love exploring his local park!

-Miss Lyddon is keeping busy by knitting chickens to raise money for a local charity – what a wonderful and creative way to spread some joy!

-Mrs Osborne has been making sure she is doing plenty of exercise such as going for runs and bike rides. She has also been spending lots of time in the garden enjoying nature – fresh air is good for the soul!

-Mrs Franklin is spending lots of time with her cat Izzy and going for daily walks in the sunshine.

-Mr Wood has enjoyed having the opportunity to get outside and tidy, repair and maintaining his garden. We can’t wait to see what he achieves!
