Admission policies
For parents and carers of children who unfortunately can not obtain a place at Great Binfields, a waiting list is generated by the local authority's Admissions Team.
For children who are not successful in obtaining a place in EYFS will from Wednesday 26th April, be able to glean where they are on the school's waiting list. Please phone our school on 01256 460532 to gather this information. Please have ready, your full name and phone number, the child’s full name, address and DOB. Our Admin Team can then check against records to let you know.
Appeals are managed through Hampshire Admissions. More information can be found here.
The deadline for appeals is the 19th May 2022. It is worth noting that there is much work involved in an appeal for both school and parent, and that very few appeals are successful. It is also worth reading the admission policy above, as this is critical to any appeal made. Decisions made are based on the criteria in the policy.
