Year 2 Beach Day
Today in Year 2 we enjoyed our 'Beach Day' in support of our 'Wish You Were Here' topic. In true British fashion, we had the weather for it! To start the day the children made and enjoyed some vanilla ice cream. Then they created a flag design for a sandcastle. The children also enjoyed water play, outdoor games and time in the sand pit. In the afternoon they took part in some beach themed art activities which included shell sketching and watercolour painting. A great day was had by all!
