On Tuesday afternoon we were fortunate enough to be visited by the legendary 'Safari Pete'. Miss Rogers had initially booked it as an Upper Key Stage Two activity; but once the other teachers heard what was on offer they all wanted to be involved! Pete brought with him a variety of animals and insects, including: a barn owl, meerkats, a snake, a scorpion and a CROCODILE! Yes - you read that correctly! As you can imagine, there was a real divide in opinion as to whether this was exciting or absolutely terrifying. A real afternoon of awe and wonder for all involved and a big thank you to Remi's Dad for helping enable us to allow Safari Pete to engage with such a huge audience!
