Another smashing day down here in Sussex. We even managed to avoid the rain until 4pm which is fabulous considering the Weald and Downland Museum is an open air one! The children have been superb - what an amazing Year 3 cohort we have. They are full of questions, many have a super general knowledge and they are willing to give new challenges a go. The children have had the opportunity to mill flour, build a roof using terracotta tiles, have walked a few miles, been involved in a torchlit treasure hunt, built a space station for Tim Peakes and created some fab space pictures using chalk and collage too. The kids are all very happy but getting tired. They have been well fed and watered...and later on they get to kip together in the Tim Peake Exhibition Hall... how cool is that?!!
Hope you enjoy the photographs. I will upload a few at a time as the wifi is a tad patchy.
