Ofsted Inspection Report

Our school report, in the form of a letter, is attached via the link below. As a school we were really proud of the developments our school made since the previous inspection in July 2015, and that these were recognised. We believe that since May 2019 and despite the C19 Pandemic disruption we encountered, our school has continued to make improvements.

What is a section 8 inspection?

It is classed as a shorter inspection but still 2 days and very thorough.

The result of a Section 8 inspection can be one of three outcomes:

  1. The school remains good and will be inspected in another four years in line with all good schools

  2. The school remains good, has improved and is possibly outstanding

  3. The school is good but is declining.

Outcomes 2 and 3 will result in another full two day inspection in the future.

The report is testament to the hard work and commitment of the whole Great Binfields family; including staff, pupils, governors and our parent/carer community. As a result of our recent inspection findings, our school will have a further full inspection in the near future as they believed at the time of the last inspection, that we may be better than good.
