Volunteers

Would you like to join our outstanding team of volunteers? At Great Binfields, we are really fortunate to have such supportive parents and friends who realise the positive impact that volunteers can have on any community.

We have volunteers working across the school. These are some of the ways in which they are helping the children of Great Binfields:

• Listening to readers

• Working with small groups in both Literacy and Numeracy

• Supporting Collective Worship through open the book

• Specialist SEN support

• Cookery projects

• Design and Technology projects

• Art projects

• Forest Skills Sessions

• Gardening

• Assisting on trips

• Assisting with travel to competitive sporting events

• Assisting with fundraising events (please see our FOGB Page for this)

As a school, we welcome you in and value your input. Initially, you would meet with Mrs Daly, our Business Manager to discuss the role you feel you could play. We want you to enjoy the experience too so we place a great emphasis on your skills and interests.
