Learning Together, Achieving Forever

At Great Binfields Primary School, it is our aim to inspire children with a curiosity and interest to explore the world we live in and its people.  By teaching our children about natural and human environments, as well as physical and human processes, we want to promote a love of geographical learning. We encourage the children to ask questions about the world and provide opportunities for them to develop geographical skills and knowledge to be able to answer them, including various opportunities to strengthen geographical fieldwork skills outside of the classroom.

'The study of geography is about more than just memorising places on a map. It's about understanding the complexity of our world, appreciating the diversity of cultures that exists across continents. And in the end, it's about using all that knowledge to help bridge divides and bring people together' - Barack Obama
