Today Key Stage 1 and Early Years had a visit from the author Anne Wan.  Each year group had a session where Anne shared her book 'Manners Fit for the Queen' with them.  Anne talked about what inspired her to write the story and discussed how important manners were.  The children were able to share their ideas and give examples of good manners.  Anne also brought her friend, the puppet Isobel, along with her and together they told us about Isobel's brother Hector, and his terrible manners.  The children all listened well to the story and it was a great to work with a published author.
