Day Two - The Eden Project
Another hot and sunny day here in Devon. The children have been amazing, even though it has at times, been hot and sticky! At the Eden project we had a workshop called Rainforest Detectives. Here we had to find different ways to survive, in the Rainforest, by discovering aspects of the Biodomes. We had three categories - shelter, food and medicine/health.
We did achieve the highest point of the Biodome too as we went in the morning!! It was very hot, but the waterfall gave us a refreshing blast of cool air!
Once back in our Eden classroom, the children had to present their findings. Lovely to see their 'Walk on the Wild side' topic come to life. Lots of knowledge remembered and shared with each other and the Eden project staff.... so proud of them so they had an ice cream from Miss Lyddon on the way home!
Once back on the farm, the children had some free time before dinner, shower and story. Good night all.
