Today, the children in Years 4 and 5 were incredibly lucky as they had the chance to take part in a steel pan drum session with Mr Jones from Hampshire County Council. It was a pleasure to see all of the children thoroughly engaged in creating music with this unique instrument as they explored the 7 different notes which could be played. The children practised playing scales and even managed a tune, drumming the Beginner Bossa as a class.

Thank you to Ms Lyddon for organising this experience and Mr Jones to delivering four fantastic, fun-filled sessions for our children! What a way to end the half term 😊
