On Tuesday 1st March Miss Grainger took a group of year 5/6 children to the netball qualifying competition at Russell Howard. With not as many schools entering this year, everyone automatically qualified for the finals allowing the children to have some friendly matches today, and a little practice before the final event. Great Binfields started slow and took a while to get into the swing of things but eventually started sinking the goals. With some great shots from Mohan and Jasper we then became a bit more confident. Megan was tenacious in defence, grabbing interceptions left, right and centre. Unfortunately we didn't get many wins, but a few draws and a couple of   defeats. More children will get the opportunity to play on the 17th. We're looking forward to it.
