Oak Class GIST Road Safety Trip
This morning, Year 5 had the pleasure of visiting the head office of GIST, in Basingstoke, to learn about road safety when a lorry may be around. The children had a great time learning lots of facts about the stopping distances of a lorry and the blind spots that could prevent them from being seen. Oak Class then had the opportunity to sit in the driver's seat of the lorry and see the blind spots for themselves. They all had a thoroughly enjoyable time!
