Stubbington Day 1
The Year 6 children have had a fantastic first day at Stubbington. After a tour of the site, they took part in a variety of games and activities such as the 'Eggstreme Challenge'. This involved them earning tokens to buy materials to make a protective casing for an egg. The eggs were then catapulted to see how robust their design actually was. 3/4 of the eggs survived without any injuries. Unfortunately the final egg (Egg Sheeran) wasn't so lucky and cracked in a few places. It was no yoke!
This evening the children enjoyed a dinner of fish and chips followed by a wildlife talk.
They are looking forward to a jam packed day tomorrow where they will be building shelters and creating mammal hotels.
