This time the children in KS2 have created the display for the window in Tesco and it looks absolutely stunning. The children have been learning about the significance of the poppy, reflecting and thinking about those who have/ are serving for our country. 

Miss Lemar set the children the challenge to create the poppies by developing their weaving skills. Everyone had to follow a set of detailed instructions with a great amount of perseverance and determination. The best part of the project is how unique each of the poppies are, just like the real flowers. Thank you to all the children as your perseverance has really produced a very special display, that reminds others of the importance of the poppy. Whilst Miss Lemar and Mrs Barnhouse were popping it up lots of shoppers stopped and made lovely comments, a display worth having a look at. Well done everyone.
