Yesterday Year 2 enjoyed a beach themed day as part of their topic 'Wish You Were Here'. The day was packed with beach activities from the past to present day. Children were put into groups and had to work as teams to complete a variety of activities. These included a sandcastle challenge, watercolour painting postcards, Punch and Judy shows and investigating the seaside in the past. Children loved the Punch and Judy characters and in the afternoon they had to create their own Punch and Judy show for others to watch. We were even lucky with the weather and it stayed dry all day.
