Nearly 40 of our children met us at The Haymarket Theatre in Basingstoke this Sunday morning to watch Julia Donaldson's fabulous story of Room On The Broom. It was so good - making us laugh lots too. The actors really did bring the characters alive and it was great hearing some of the children whisper the next part as they knew the story so well. It was a very clever adaptation and our children were engaged and extremely well behaved throughout. Once again seeing them so excited and happy was an absolute delight.

Thank to Anvil Arts for giving us a reduced rate as we were a group booking but a huge thank you must go to our fabulous staff (Miss Finnimore, Miss Hanafin, Miss Lemar and Mrs Barnhouse) who gave up their Sunday morning to chaperone the children with me. Our staff really do go above and beyond to make sure our children get the very best of opportunities.

We will certainly do this again as this is our second trip to the theatre this year and it works well. If you haven't been lucky and got a ticket so far don't despair - you will get a chance in the future.
