This week our theme has been 'deforestation'. We have learnt all about the devastating impact this can have on our precious planet. We completed a range of activities including:

-Designing a bug hotel

-Creating a poster about 'perfect pollination' and thinking about our precious insects and their habitats

-Writing a non-chronological report

-Creating a tree through ink blowing against a watercolour wash

-Having a live visit from the Indoor Rainforest

We finished our week on a high when we met with our buddy classes for the week in EYFS and shared what we had been up to with them! Thanks Miss Canfield for planning a smashing Science week for us all!
