At Great Binfields we empower 2 pupils in each class to be 'Sports Leaders'. These children take on a number of key roles and help their teachers and peers throughout PE lessons and playtimes. They assist in leading the warm up and cool down and help with equipment. 

Each half term, Mrs Gough and the Sports Leaders get together for a meeting over lunch time. Our Autumn 1 meeting was all about promoting active play times. With the help of our four Year 6 Play Time Leaders, we shared ideas to promote playtimes to be active. 

During our recent Sports Leader meeting, the children came together to discuss what their role could be as a Sports Leader. We also thought about what is great about PE at Great Binfields and what could make it even better. The children loves discussing this and giving their voice.
