Great Fire of London in Year 2!

This morning, as part of their current history topic, Year 2 built their own Pudding Lane and then set it alight to recreate the Great Fire of London of 1666. As the fire started to rip through the houses, London burned before their eyes! They discussed the reasons as to why the fire spread so quickly and the measures that King Charles II took to save a fire like that from ever happening again.
