Science Club begins
Key Stage 1 Science Club began on Thursday after school. We learnt about and made our very own rockets (very relevant with Tim Peake being in space at the moment!) Children worked in threes to create a balloon rocket. They had to think about how to speed up or slow down the rocket, and with any budding scientists we had a few questions that we had to solve first before the rockets worked well. We had to understand how forces were being used to make the balloon move. It was a great experiment to start off the club. Hopefully children used their balloons they took home to try and make another, even better rocket! Have a look at the pictures to see how they did.
