The Year 2 children had a brilliant time on Tuesday 2nd July on their Geography field trip to Mill  Field. Our Geography learning is based on a book called 'Hike', so it was very fitting for the children to go on a walk as part of this learning. Before we left, the children packed their bags with their walking kit, DT teddy bears and a picnic lunch. We headed out of the school gates and were on route! We soon arrived at Mill Field and the children were put into smaller groups. They each took part in 4 activities; feeding the ducks, playing in the park, flying paper planes and games of pooh sticks. The children thoroughly enjoyed being out in nature. We then ate our picnic lunches before walking back to school.
