Groovy Greek Day!
Year 4 had a super Greek day today. They all looked amazing in their outfits! The children had a challenge of writing their names in Greek first thing which was tricky as the Greek alphabet is quite different to ours and some of us had letters missing! After break we had a Greek cuisine tasting session that everyone enjoyed even if we didn’t like all of the different foods. We tried feta, olives, Greek yoghurt, pitta, houmous, tzatziki and baklava. In the afternoon, we had the option to create a Greek temple (thank you for all the toilet/kitchen rolls!), a victory olive wreath or a Medusa mask. We will be putting up the photos soon for you to have a look at.
