Year 5 Dig up the Past

Today, the children in Year 5 became archaeologists and unearthed what is believed to be an Anglo Saxon burial site. They discovered the skeleton of what looks to be a man, surrounded by coins and precious gems. This has led them to believe it could be the grave of an Anglo Saxon king. During their English lessons for the rest of the week, they will be writing a formal report of the dig. Take a look at the photos to see what they got up to…
