Year 5/6 Netball match
Fri 07 Nov 2025A huge well done to our brilliant netball team for a fantastic match yesterday at Bramley School! Mrs Gough and Mrs Russel were absolutely blown away by the teamwork, resilience, and enjoyment shown throughout the game.
GBP began the final third of the match trailing 6–0, but with determination and incredible team spirit, they turned the score around to finish 9–7. What an amazing achievement!
We were so impressed by their effort and attitude that the team has been nominated for a Resilience Badge.
A big thank you to Bramley School for hosting us, and a special shout-out to all our wonderful parent supporters for their encouragement from the sidelines.
Well done, team — we are so proud of you!

Early Years scooter training and road safety
Tue 04 Nov 2025Rowan and Birch class had an amazing time yesterday as we enjoyed participating in both scooter and road safety training! During scooter training, the children learned lots of new skills including how to stop and start safely on command, crouching, gliding and weaving around cones! The children listened beautifully and used their spatial awareness and co- ordination skills to navigate their scooter and did an amazing job.
During road safety training, the children were very sensible throughout, and made sure they listened carefully to instructions at all times, in order to cross the road and paths safely. They also learned how to look out for potential dangers, such as driveways which are not obvious roads. We also discussed external factors such as other people, animals and vehicles such as electric cars being very quiet and bin lorries. In addition to this, we discussed the different types of crossing that the children may come across and the importance of using our senses to navigate the road safely.
We were super proud of the children's resilience throughout and children and adults alike had lots of fun!
